This action packed tour allows us to sample the wide range of habitats in north-central Victoria. We will bird in the Box-Ironbark country, the Mallee country north of Bendigo and the northern plains bioregion with its native grasslands, granite outcrops and Cypress pine woodlands.
Reaching many areas too far for a one day tour and spotlighting on the native grasslands this tour has many rare and threatened species possible in an expansive and unpopulated landscape. High quality birding at any time of year.

Please Note: This tour can include spotlighting in search of Plains-wanderer. If not easy to find on public land at the time, and accessing private land is the best option, an extra $250 access fee goes to the landholder who is conserving the bird’s habitat
